Mary Ellen Gallagher

Mary Ellen and her family arrived in Westport in 1999 after spending several years abroad.  As a Realtor, she understands the pressures of repatriating to the U.S. and is sensitive to a family’s transitional needs.  She is an experienced Realtor, knowing the fears and frustrations inherent in such a major move.  She has the insight to alleviate her clients’ difficulties.
   
Mary Ellen has a BS in Business Administration from Bryant University and an MBA in Finance from Pace University, NYC.  Prior to becoming a Realtor, Mary Ellen spent many years managing and maintaining client relationships for various NYC financial institutions.  Mary Ellen taught business classes in the International Baccalaureate Program at the International School of Basel, Switzerland.  Most recently, Mary Ellen was a Project Manager at a large residential and commercial contractor in Fairfield County.  Mary Ellen assisted in developing both residential and commercial properties as well as obtaining municipal financing for projects in Fairfield County.  Mary Ellen’s experience in residential renovations gives her a keen insight into the many possibilities a home may possess.

Mary Ellen, her husband John and two children, Sarah and Sean, live in Westport.  She is actively involved and on the boards of numerous community and civic organizations in Fairfield County.  Sarah and Sean have gone through the Westport school system where Mary Ellen has served on several Executive PTA Boards as well as the PTA Council.  The Gallaghers are active members St. Luke's Parish.
