Karen lives in Westport with her husband Bob. Their sons Michael and Jack, who attend Staples High School and Bedford Middle School in Westport, keep the family involved in various sports and town activities. Karen is actively involved in community interests. She is a board member of the Westport PTA, Westport Soccer Association and Westport Young Woman’s League, co-chairing the Annual Minute Man Race. In addition, Karen volunteers her time to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation and St. Luke Church.
A graduate from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in Economics and Finance
and an MBA in Marketing from DePaul University, Kellstadt School of Business,
Karen previously held various leadership positions in the airline industry. Her
contributions ranged from opening new international domicile locations, acting
as a corporate instructor of service quality seminars and customer service training.
She received various awards and customer service accolades including the coveted "Best
in the Business" award.
